Tenyoh draws inspiration from her experience as a nurse working with people of diverse backgrounds. She studied sumi-e in Japan. After moving to the United States, she turned to oil painting. Since 2012, she has pursued a full-time career as a ceramic sculptor.

This year, Tenyoh presents work from her solo exhibition, Take Me to Your Moon: Journeys into the World of Dementia, which will be held in Rapid City, South Dakota, in spring 2026. Her work is in the permanent collections of the SD Art Museum, Washington Pavilion, Sanford Health, and Rapid City Arts Council. She received the 2023 South Dakota Arts Council Fellowship Grant.
