Susan Norris

Cimarron, New Mexico

As a self-taught sculptor, Susan Norris expresses a diverse range of styles and subject matter. She enjoys mixing realism and humor with her animal sculptures and invites the viewer to smile and laugh at her “animal fiction” creations. An avid supporter of our veterans, Susan’s commissions include the National Vietnam War Museum, and other organizations that honor and help our military heroes. Her sculpture of a military service dog is currently located in four memorial parks across the U.S. Susan is also a prolific painter and has illustrated numerous magazines and books and was the National Artist for the Boy Scouts of America. She makes her home in Cimarron, NM.
