Sheldon Ganstrom

Ganstrom has developed an innovative glaze palette, meticulously applying glazes over several days or weeks prior to firing each piece in the kiln. He further enhances his work by removing pieces while the glazes are still molten to create distinctive effects.

A graduate of Kansas State University, Ganstrom's artwork is represented in both public and private collections worldwide, including the Vernon Filley Art Museum, the American Museum of Ceramic Art, and the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. His creations have been highlighted in numerous books and professional publications.
