Robin Zvonek

An artist at heart, Robin spent over 30 years in the design business, traveling and photographing for her clients. Always intent on capturing depth and dimension, she translated her expertise into glass and studied with a myriad of glass masters from around the world. Robin said, “The heat changes everything – color, size, texture, angles – it’s never consistent and therefore is the perfect medium for me to explore. Every piece I create starts with a big idea and evolves into an adventure until I have the final piece. It’s the ultimate creative journey.” Her love of reading led to her book series, shown here. And her intrigue with the beauty of old architecture and beautiful, colorful windows has inspired her "Room with a View" series, which will be shown for the first time at the sculpture show. Her glass is always multi-dimensional, requiring several firings to be perfected. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, so collectors are assured of their distinctive originality. Robin is honored to have her glass sculptures in private collections nationwide.
