Robert Allison

Denver, Colorado

Sixth-generation South Carolinian now residing in Denver, Colorado, for 23 years, Robert's art studies include the Florence Academy of Arts in Italy and numerous renowned sculptors, including Earline Heath King, Garland Weeks, and Lincoln Fox.

Inspired by travels to Europe, visits to Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina, and daily interactions with people. He aspires to bring out the grace, courage, and inner strength of the human form, a child’s tender innocence, and the indomitable spirit of God's creatures.

Some of his public works include Denver Academy, Philip S. Miller Park, University of South Carolina, Riverbanks Zoo, Prisma Health Cancer Institute, Castle Rock Recreation Center, and Orangeburg Department of Public Utilities.
