As a self-taught fourth-generation farmer and cattlemen, I have found welding and equipment repair to be necessary skills. After many years, I began using artistic shapes and colors to create abstract sculptures. “The function of the pieces, weather, time, and contact with the soil are the inspiration for my pieces, and a unique way to honor my heritage.” I continue to experiment with new techniques and materials. Architectural wall pieces have become a new and exciting area for me. Pieces can be found in private collections and commercial settings across the country. “I continue to be overwhelmed by the response to my work over the last 9 years and the opportunities the show has given me.
