Paul Lippart

Paul Brandt Lippart is a Colorado-based sculptor and founder of Brandt Metalworks. Raised in rural Wisconsin, he has worked with animals his entire life, assisting his veterinarian father on farms and in zoological settings. That early immersion shaped his understanding of animal structure, posture, and personality. Drawing on years of farm labor and hands-on fabrication, he transforms recycled steel into refined yet whimsical animal sculptures defined by concealed welds and balanced form. His work has been exhibited throughout Colorado and has received multiple People’s Choice Awards in public art displays, reflecting both craftsmanship and a strong public connection.
