Nicholas Stelter

I sculpt glass in the kiln, always pushing and exploring it, letting it show me its true form. Following that, the glass is cold-worked and polished to create the soothing shapes and organic lines characteristic of my work. Then, I design and fabricate complementary pedestals to finish each piece.

I started working in glass 27 years ago, at 19, with a nationally recognized artist. Upon his retirement, I went in my own direction. I have numerous works in corporate and private collections, including on multiple cruise ships.
