Moana Ponder

Novato, California

Born into a family of artists, she began her art education at an early age, with her first critique occurring at age six. While attending high school at Punahou in Hawaii, she took all four years of art classes. After high school, she attended the University of California, Berkeley. For many years, she focused on painting, but in 1995, she transitioned to sculpture and soon began exhibiting her work with Sculpture in the Park. Notable exhibitions have included shows with the National Sculpture Society and American Women Artists. She is currently represented by Art Incorporated in San Antonio, TX; Legends of the West Fine Art Gallery in Santa Fe, NM; and T H Brennen Fine Art in Scottsdale, AZ.
