"Raised among the woods and bluffs of Wisconsin, Mark developed a lifelong fascination with wildlife through countless encounters with nature's creatures. His artistic vision centers on capturing an animal's true essence, creating work that forges strong human connections and gently reminds us that we all share this earth as fellow creatures.

With a playful approach that brings both whimsy and joy to his subjects, Mark's art invites viewers to rediscover their own relationship with the animal kingdom. His technical skill, honed through his BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, serves his deeper mission of celebrating our kinship with animals through thoughtful, heartfelt sculptures."
