John Haley III

John began his career as a blacksmith in 1993 after trying to “find his voice” in various other mediums such as painting, drawing, video, music, and photocopy art. A great admirer of the natural world, his work’s organic qualities reflect this and a deep appreciation for all things Art Nouveau. John has traveled the country doing shows and has participated in numerous international blacksmithing and sculpture symposiums, primarily in Europe. Ever evolving and devolving, his work is currently experiencing a return to symmetry-based pieces after a two-year period of generating looser, more improvised pieces.
