Born in Rhode Island, I found an interest in art while attending a school near the Rhode Island School of Design. I explored Colorado's mountains before moving to Seattle in the 1990s, where I learned glassblowing and neon art at PRATT Fine Arts Center. Later, I moved to Santa Fe, inspired by its culture and landscapes, and that move became the foundation for the work I make today. My sculptures range from intimate glass and steel pieces to large-format outdoor installations with suspended fused glass, shattered glass silhouettes, and functional art furniture. I am self-taught in welding and forging, fascinated by how glass and steel can hold each other in balance.
