As a St. Louis, Missouri native and a Wood/Mixed Media Sculptor, I received a BFA from Westminster/William Woods Universities in 1978 with a concentration in Sculpture. I have been exhibiting in Regional Juried Exhibitions since 1980 and National & International Gallery Exhibits since 2014. Employing carving, woodturning, and embellishing techniques that I have learned through the 40 plus years of my main profession as a furniture maker, I search out iconic themes/images and then stylize them to create a narrative that explores motivations. My latest series explores emotions visualized through carved Longhorn bulls.
