Jeremy Verne

Jeremy is a self-taught, lifelong artist and woodworker who carves organic, abstract sculpture from select hardwoods. Drawing on the influences of his artistic mother and mathematical father, along with subconscious inspiration from a long-neglected degree in biology, Jeremy aims to create works that are technically complex, yet warm and animated. After leaving a 25-year design career to pursue art full-time, he won 'Best in 3D' at his first juried show, and has gone on to have his work displayed in private collections across the country, most recently as a piece recreated in bronze and installed in downtown Lafayette, CO.
