Jamée Lucas Loeffler
Lafayette, Colorado
Jamée Lucas Loeffler, born 1972, is an American Sculptor, raised in the foothills of Colorado. Jamée is an autodidactic, self-taught Sculptor. His work focuses on the human form, with an emphasis on historic American culture. Most of his work is cast in bronze using the lost-wax process, while some larger permanent works are hand-sculpted from cement. Jamée first cast his work at the age of 26. His first showing was in Santa Fe, but he soon began exhibiting at numerous galleries across Colorado and New Mexico.
Jamée is passionate about public art. He has donated several pieces to permanent art programs and has installed over half a dozen works in Lafayette, one in Longmont, and two in Lyons. As a result, several pieces have been purchased, while others have been relocated to neighboring townships.
