Jade Windell

Loveland, Colorado

I started carving marble when I received a scholarship to the Marble Institute of Colorado in 2010, and now, sculpture is my great passion. What I love about making art, especially abstract art, is that I can open the door to interpretation. Everyone sees something different in it. Always looking and creating, I continue to mature and develop my unique style. My affinity for finding the sweet spot between form and movement results in playful and modern-inspired representation. My work is something not only to be seen but to be experienced.

I like to infuse humor into my art. I want to create the question in the viewer’s mind: “What is it?” Whether you are sophisticated about art or not, I want you to enjoy it. There is no pretense in it. It’s art for the masses. Everyone can love it.
