Jacob W. Harvey

Jacob W. Harvey was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. He received his Bachelor of Arts, with honors from Augustana University, where he studied drawing and sculpture, specifically the methods of direct, abstract stone carving. After graduation Jacob worked for Sioux Falls sculptor and owner of Bronze Age Art Casting, LLC, Rick Haugen, for a decade. In 2024 Jacob moved to Colorado to pursue a full time career in Sculpture and began working for Art Castings of Colorado, in Loveland, CO. He has displayed his sculptures publicly in South Dakota, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Currently, he creates mostly abstract representations of human forms, animals, and mythical characters.
