I learned to weld as a young teenager, and ever since, I’ve been driven to create art that captures a sense of wonder and excitement. My work transforms ordinary materials into larger-than-life sculptures, inviting viewers to experience familiar things in unexpected ways. Whether I’m forging steel in the foundry or fabricating a 20-foot-tall pubic art installation, my guiding principle is simple: if it would make my younger self say, ‘Wow, that’s so cool!’—then I’m on the right track. For me, art is about pushing boundaries, having fun, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.
