Heather Rison

Heather Rison is a Salt Lake City-based sculptor and painter with a decade of experience developing her voice across both disciplines. She studied figure painting at the Hein Academy and trained privately under master sculptors Kraig Varner, Deon Duncan, and Leroy Transfeld. Her work spans intimate figurative sculpture, painting, and public monument commissions. Heather's talent has earned recognition at the national level, including the National Sculpture Society's Beverly Hoyt Robertson Memorial Gloria Medal, First Place at the Salmagundi Club in New York, and back-to-back People's Choice wins at the Faces of Utah Sculpture Show.
