Gerald Painter

Gerald graduated from the University of Scranton in 1990 with a BS in Biology. He has lived in Montana since 1997 and has been pursuing his art career since. He began as a wildlife artist, transitioning to sculpture 17 years ago. His science background is visible in his highly detailed and anatomically accurate pieces. He has won numerous awards at the World Championship in Ocean City, MD, including the World Championship. He has been a frequent contributor to Birds in Art at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin, with a piece in their permanent collection.
