Gary Mitchell

Gary Mitchell, from St. Louis, Missouri, has been making painted aluminum sculptures since the 1980's. He sold animal heads though Asher Faure Gallery in Los Angeles and Elaine Horwitch Galleries. He received an MFA from U. C. Santa Barbara in 1997. His recent subject matter is the human figure, which he renders with a unique method of formed aluminum sheet metal. These works are suitable for outdoor display and are featured in states including Arkansas, Wyoming, Mississippi, and Missouri.
