Dwight Davidson
Denver, Colorado
Dwight Davidson received a BFA in 1977 from the University of Utah. He was born in 1949 and raised on a farm in Idaho, and moved to Denver, CO in 1981, where he currently lives and works.
Nature, mythology, architectural ornamentation, and a sense of humor are major influences on his bronze, stoneware, glass, and bas-relief sculptures. His use of polychromatic patinas on bronzes and fired image transfers on clay sculptures makes his work unique. Permanent collections include the University of Utah Museum of Fine Art, the Dr. Robert and Deanna Harris Burger Collection, Harrah’s Casinos, and the Corporate Headquarters.
Judge for the Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championships 2022-2026
