Diane Mason

Diane is a Distinguished Signature Member, board member, and former president (2008-2013) of the Society of Animal Artists, a Master Signature Member of the American Women Artists, and an eighteen-year participant in Loveland’s own Sculpture in the Park.  Her “Over-worked and Under-paid” sculpture of a gold miner’s donkey was installed in the newer section of Benson Park in 2019.

Diane’s sculptures are inspired by a lifetime of study and passion for animals.  She has a degree in Ethology (natural animal behaviors) from Purdue University and learned sculpture in the mid-to-late 1990’s under instructors including David Turner and Gerald Balciar.
