Dennis enjoys taking the realistic approach with sculpture to capture the essence of our western heritage, Native American culture, or a specific moment in nature. His love of nature was instilled at a very early age, as he explored and grew up on the banks of the Missouri River. While he is primarily self-taught, Dennis has studied with other acclaimed wildlife and western sculptors.

His bronzes and woodcarvings grace many private, corporate, church, and public collections throughout the United States. His work has been shown at the Hubbard Museum of the American West in Ruidoso, New Mexico, and his commissioned work is on display at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
