Daniel Slack is a self-taught ceramic artist born in South Dakota, whose early years included extensive international travel with his family, which shaped his appreciation for global craft traditions. In 1982, he began a pottery apprenticeship that launched his career in the ceramic arts. He later expanded his skills working in a bronze foundry, a ceramic drum studio, and a miniature ceramics studio. In 1998, Slack founded Cache La Pottery, establishing his independent studio practice. His work has been featured in numerous art fairs, exhibitions, and national competitions. Today, his ceramics are represented by The Artful Home and collected throughout the United States.
