Dan & Joi LaChaussee
Langley, Washington
Joi received her BFA from the University of Colorado, then continued to pursue glassblowing at Appalachian Center for Crafts. Dan's Journey began in stained glass. After graduating from high school and eager to learn more, he went to work at Fremont Antique Glass in Seattle, hand-blowing sheet glass. Joi and Dan met at Pratt Fine Arts. Training under prolific glassblowers and adding Pilchuck Glass School to their resumes, they’ve embarked on an adventurous art career. Working as a team for 41 years, they've earned more than 20 Best Show and Category awards. While most of their art is in private collections, the Saint George Utah Art Museum has two LaChaussees. They have both participated in successful shows at the Loveland Sculpture Park since 2021. They have new art every year.
