Clinton Lesh

Bozeman, Montana

Clinton Lesh is a metal sculptor born and raised on a ranch in Ekalaka, Montana, where early experiences with agriculture, wildlife, and the western landscape shaped his artistic practice. Growing up working cattle and living closely with the land instilled a deep respect for rural traditions and the natural world. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montana State University, Clinton began translating those influences into large-scale metal sculptures. His work blends realism with imagination, often drawing from animals, storytelling, and Western life. Through projects including interactive sculptures at Burning Man, like this woolly mammoth, he creates durable pieces that invite curiosity, engagement, and shared experience.
