Carol Lake

Canterbury, New Hampshire

Carol Lake is a sculptor, trained naturalist, and natural horsemanship instructor whose work in ceramic and bronze is rooted in a lifetime of farming, breeding traditional Morgan horses, and Milking Shorthorn cattle. A true animalier, she works with wildlife, equine, and domestic species. She received Best in Sculptural Ceramics at the League of NH Craftsmen's Annual Fair. She is a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen, Artists for Conservation, and the New England Sculptors Association. Public commissions include bronze installations for the Abenaki Tribe and a life-size horse head for the Town of Peterborough, NH. Her work is held in private collections in the US, Asia, and Europe, and has been exhibited internationally, including in Paris and Vancouver.
