Adam Long

The inspiration for Adam Long’s signature Forest Figures came early in his career while creating a figure study. On a whim he decided to glue bark to it. Juxtaposing the figure with natural forms communicated so much. His work speaks of humankind’s connection to the natural world.

Adam Long is a professional sculptor in St. Charles, Missouri. He holds an MA in Studio Art and an MFA in Sculpture from Fontbonne University.

His work has won many honors, prizes and awards. It is collected around the world and has been featured in numerous publications and television networks including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the FOX, CBS, and PBS network affiliates.
