Born and raised in Pittsburg, Kansas, Zach VanBecelaere is a fabricator and metal artist whose works are an abstract representation of his fascination with balancing precision and perfection with chaos and harsh textures. A self-taught artist, with a background in custom fabrication, he has won multiple awards for his works in several gallery showings, as well as completing his recent residency at Buffalo Creek Art Center in 2024 where his large scale “Thought Knot” is on display in the sculpture garden. With works in private collections in multiple states, his pieces are sure to be topic of conversation for all who appreciate truly unique works of sculpture.
