Ronnie Wells

Mr. Wells graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1968 with a Fine Arts Degree. Upon graduation he was employed at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas as a Medical Illustrator. He resigned in 1972 and began a lifelong pursuit of his passion for wildlife art, as both painter and sculptor. Mr. Wells is a nationally known artist. He has won numerous awards and exhibits his work in Museums and Fine Art Shows across the nation. He and his wife own and maintain Wells Gallery in Salado, Texas. His monumental bronze sculpture, “Gale Winds and Mallards” stands on the grounds of the National Ducks Unlimited Headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.
