Linda Prokop

Loveland, Colorado

Linda Prokop received her BFA and moved to Loveland, CO in 1985, where she developed her individual style alongside some of the country’s top sculptors.  Her work focuses on communicating everyday experiences, infusing her pieces with timeless emotions such as love, family, and relationships. She says, “The human figure is the best way to communicate an easily relatable common ground.  I strive to include a sense of humor and interaction and enjoy juxtaposing size relationships and using found objects to enhance the narrative.” Her works “Best Friends” and “Big Wish” are in the Benson Sculpture Garden collection.  She has several national permanent commissions and pieces collected worldwide. She is currently represented by Bronze Coast gallery, Cannon Beach, OR and Gallery 1261, Denver, CO.
