2026 marks my 20th year in Sculpture in the Park. My first 20-year career was as a Character Animator at Disney Feature Animation. I use all of my animation knowledge to bring my stone animals to life. "Arctic Wind" is inspired by my respect for animals that live where humans cannot; they are a marvel of adaptation. I love the way the wind sculpts snow into delicately refined swirls. I feel a kinship of shapes between wind-sculpted forms and Arctic animals. I wish to call attention to this region that is disappearing in our lifetime.
