Elaine Hansard
Bozeman, Montana
Elaine Hansard is a self-taught artist known for her bronze sculptures of wildlife and mythological goddesses. Inspired by her upbringing near Yellowstone Park and an unconventional childhood focused on spirituality and survival, her work blends beauty with resilience. When she was four, her family moved from California to Montana to build a fallout shelter. She was raised believing World War was inevitable and decided to choose bronze as her medium, as it was guaranteed to survive the apocalypse. Elaine pours her passion and positivity into each piece, believing that bronze, a natural conductor of energy, can communicate these intentions to all who experience her work.
