A glass artist for more than two decades, Denise Bohart has for many years drawn much artistic and spiritual inspiration from the natural world – specifically the mountains, rivers, and forests around her home in the Colorado mountains. Recently, she has begun exploring more conceptual work – while still abstract in design, her work has also started to be more abstract in inspiration. Marked by flowing lines and a sense of movement, her 2D and 3D fused glass creations exude a feeling of peace and serenity while leaving ample room for the viewer’s unique experience.
