Dave Stevenson

Manhattan, New York

Dave Stevenson has sculpted at studios in CA, MT & the Caribbean, and been based in Manhattan (NY) since 2001. Inspired by music, modern dance, and his athletic pursuits (climbing, snowboarding, swimming), Stevenson creates non-representational pieces & animal abstractions. In 2012, he received a grant from the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance for his Raptor Rising series. Stevenson’s 9’h Acrobat was purchased by Brandywine Realty Trust in 2019 for the entrance to its FMC Tower in Philadelphia, PA. Notable collections include those of filmmaker James Cameron and violinist Joshua Bell. A graduate of The College of William & Mary, Stevenson is represented by Galerie Les Artisans in St-Barthélemy, F.W.I.
