Chuck Brenton

Loveland, Colorado

Chuck Brenton (b. 1987, Des Moines, Iowa) creates bold, abstract sculptures inspired by rugged landscapes and the euphoric flow-state of trail running. Based in Bellvue, Colorado, he draws from shifting light, terrain, and natural forms to shape his work. He earned his BFA in Fine Art with a concentration in Sculpture from Colorado State University in 2012. He captures fleeting moments of movement and memory using vibrant color and innovative techniques. Influenced by color field painting and modernist minimalism, he merges painting and sculpture through a unique finishing process. Brenton’s work has been exhibited in art centers and museums across Colorado, inviting viewers to explore the intersection of nature, perception, and experience.
